My current research focus is on developing transducers for autonomous wireless sensor nodes. For that purpose I am looking at transducer design and more exotic sensing mechanisms based on stochastic nonlinear dynamics. At the same time I am considering embedding signal processing into the transducer operation itself and co-designing the transducer and readout circuitry to push the power-resolution envelope towards the fundamental limits imposed by physics.
